Henry Ray Griffith

Henry Ray Griffith, age 65, died on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Henry was born December 5, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Doyline, Louisiana. He retired from General Electric Company and served in the National Guard. He was avid hunter and gardener that produced the best vegetables, fruits and peas. Henry enjoyed baking, canning, and cooking, as well as hosting family barbeques. Family loved him very much and was with him upon his passing. Henry will remain forever in the hearts of both family and friends. Wife Mae Griffith and stepson Miko Figueroa survive him. Other survivors include sister, Mary Cox and brother Richard Griffith and wife Rose, aunt, Billie Beatty and children Connie and Bill, nephews Steven Cox, Jimmy Cox, Ricky Griffith and wife Amanda, stepdaughter Rachel Jarrett and children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. His parents Kathleen and Henry F. Griffith preceded Henry in death. The wake will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden on November 10, 2014 from 5 until 8 p.m. with memorial services at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Gerald Palmer and Bro. Lee Nunley officiating.
