Henry C. Thomas

Grand Cane, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Henry C. Thomas, 80, will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Longstreet Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Hall and Reverend Jay Burford officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Longstreet Baptist Church on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Henry was born in Grand Cane, LA to Laurn and Mamie Gamble Thomas and passed away at his home with his family by his side. Henry proudly served his country in the United States ARMY. He was also a member of Longstreet Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Mary K. "Kathy" Thomas; sons Travis Lane Thomas and wife Dee, Jerry Thomas and wife Billie, and Kenny Thomas and wife Charlotte; grandchildren Matthew, Morgan, Dakota, Gabriel, Brittanie, Joshua and Angelea.

Honoring the life of Henry as pallbearers will be Matthew Thomas, Morgan Thomas, Dakota Conway, Chase McCalister, Angelea Thomas, Gabriel Thomas, Brittanie Thomas, and Joshua Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Bela Emerson, Jack Burford, Mike Taylor, Ross Allison, Danny Roop, Leon Miller, Ike Phillips, and Jerry Stewart.
