Herman William Nussman

Frierson, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Herman William Nussman will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. Visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Herman was born on July 18, 1932 to his parents Gus and Emma Nussman. Herman, Pops, and PawPaw to many, was a lover of the outdoors, hunting, animals, dancing, and babies. He "Hermatized" many babies and children over the years. He was happiest working outdoors and tending his animals. He never met a stranger and was loved by more people than can be counted. Herman lived his life loving his family and friends and was surrounded by them until the end. He is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Emma Nussman; son, Morris Rowland. Herman is survived by wife, Linda Nussman; daughters, Sarah Nussman Gremillion and fiancé Billy Murphy, Edie Nussman, Rose "Doddie" Kemper and husband KD, Mary McDonald and husband Bradley; sons, Sonny Nussman and wife Robin, Jay Baker and wife Brenda, Wilson Baker and wife Tricia; sisters, Dora Koop, Cathy McDaniels, Betty Gamboa; 23 Grandchildren and 38 Great Grandchildren. Those honoring the life of Herman will be Solon "Man" Nussman, Michael Mathis, Shane Sanders, Wade Baker, Steven Baker, Buddy Baker and Jerry Rowland.
