Hilda Louise Carpenter

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Hilda Louise Carpenter, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. before the funeral. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Coushatta, LA, on September 2, 1928, to Clarence Cade Hubbard and Minnie Lea Long. She passed away on November 25, 2015, in Pensacola, FL. She was a domestic Engineer, and a woman of noble character and integrity. She was saved and Baptized at South Side Baptist Church in Alexandria, LA, and a faithful member at Westside Baptist Church and Pinecroft Baptist Church in Shreveport, La. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and brother. Left to Cherish her memory are her three sons, Thomas Jackson Carpenter Jr. and wife Kathy, Robert E. Carpenter and wife Cheryl, William Forest Carpenter and wife Carolyn; 7 grandchildren; 12 Great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.
