Hosea Eugene "Gene" Sepulvado Funeral services honoring the life of Hosea Eugene Sepulvado will be at 1l:00 A.M. on January 29, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle, LA with Father Mike Thang' Wa officiating. Visitation for family will begin at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM with friends welcome at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Chapel in Many, LA. Mr. Hosea Eugene Sepulvado was born on November 30, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Hosea Sepulvado and Lorena Leone of Zwolle, LA. He entered into rest on January 24, 2018 in Noble, LA at the age of 79. Hosea Sepulvado was a decorated veteran, receiving a good conduct medal while actively serving three years in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1963. While he served Mr. Sepulvado was made a private first class (E-2), before being honorably discharged in June 1963. After leaving active duty military, Mr. Sepulvado continued to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, while also working for Timber Inc. as a logger. Preceding him in death are his parents, Hosea Sepulvado & Lorena Leone Sepulvado. He is survived by his daughter Brandi Lopez; Sisters Shawnee Roberson of Baton Rouge, LA, Pawnee Sepulvado & husband Douglas of Keithville, LA Carolyn Sonnier & husband Raymond of Zwolle, LA & Judy Salter of Natchitoches, LA Brother Carroll Sepulvado of Lake Charles; Grandchildren Chandler Ebarb, Madison Ebarb & Marshall Ebarb; Great Grandchildren Kennedi Lewis.
