Howard Leslie Hamm

Howard Leslie Hamm “Les”, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on April 7, 1934 in Wise County, Virginia to William Hanford Hamm and Kate McReynolds Hamm. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Les was a resident of Shreveport. He retired from the United States Air Force and had a second career as the Superintendent of golf course greens. He was a former resident of Pollock, Louisiana, and member of Pollock Methodist Church. Les was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing vegetables for his family and friends and sharing his bounty with others.
