Howard worked hard his whole life and retired in May,1994 from GNB Battery. Being born and raised in the woods, he was an avid hunter of deer, squirrels, ducks...and he could cook some of the best biscuits to go with that! He also loved to fish and took his family on many a camping trip. He hunted and fished with his kids, grands and greats until he was just not able. He played guitar and loved family get togethers to "play music". He sang out his favorite old hymns at home. He was full of spunk and humor, you never knew what he was going to come up with. He had a special knack of making people laugh. He loved joking with anyone and could do it with a straight face. Everyone who knew Howard Rushing loved him and he will be so missed.
