Huey Cecil (BUD) Permenter

GRAND CANE, LA-A memorial service honoring the life of Bud Permenter, 84, will be held 10:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Rev. David Permenter officiating. Bud was born in Converse, La, on December 3, 1933 and went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2018 in Grand Cane, La. after a lengthy illness. Bud's career of approximately 50 years was in various aspects of the automobile industry, however he was a cowboy through and through. His love for the sport of rodeo was only surpassed by his love for his family. Family was everything to him. He was a wonderful husband, brother, and son, but his greatest gift was being the best dad a person could ever be. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ada Permenter; his brother, Bill Permenter and nephew, Jerry Permenter. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Permenter; son, Dave Permenter and wife Tammy; daughters, Vicky Yeglic and husband Lenny, Chris Plymale and husband Steve, Cathy Neil and husband Mike; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two nephews and one niece very special to him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the DeSoto Parish EMS Service for their presence and care given to their father over the past years of his failing health.
