Hugh Buie Bennett, Jr.

Mr. Hugh Buie Bennett Jr., 85, entered into eternal rest on July 31, 2020. Hugh was born on January 4, 1935 in Logansport, Louisiana to Hugh Bennett, Sr. and Erma Bennett. Preceding Hugh in death are his parents, Hugh Bennett, Sr. and Erma Bennett and his brother, Leland Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Jane Forrester Bennett; children, Margaret Ann Buice and husband Sam; Patricia Kay Bennett, and Deborah Jane Bennett; siblings, Carolyn B. Heard and husband Wiley, grandchildren, Samantha Buice, Jessica Buice Dobbs and husband Nick; Amy Buice, Kimberly Buice Polley and husband Nathan, and Courtney Carroll; along with several nieces and nephews. The family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice. A memorial service honoring Hugh will be held at a later date, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
