Hugh (H.C.) C McKinney

  Hosston, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of H.C. will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Springhill City Cemetery in Springhill, LA. Officiating the services will be Rev. Emile Rousseau pastor of Hosston United Methodist Church. There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 24^th from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce St., Vivian, LA. H.C. was born on July 26, 1955 in Shreveport, LA to Ralph and Lorraine McKinney and passed away on October 20, 2017 at his residence in Hosston. He had a master's degree in Social Work and was a lay minister for Hosston United Methodist Church where he was a member. H.C. loved tinkering with his tractors and tending to his pets. He was a generous soul who never met a stranger. H.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lorraine McKinney; brother, Steven Kendall McKinney; sister-in-law, Melissa McKinney; brother-in-law, Thomas Branim and father-in-law, Bobby Grabener. Left to cherish is his memories are his wife of 7 years, Kelley Grabener McKinney; siblings, Robin McKinney Branim, Ralph Raymond McKinney, Jr and wife, Debbie and Larry Clinton McKinney. H. C. is also survived by three aunts, Rita Cox, Lillie Mitchell, Marie Kelly and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
