Ida Marie Davis

Funeral services for Ida Marie Schultz Davis, 94, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with McKee Williams officiating. Interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Ida was born February 11, 1923 in St. Louis to Freidrich and Ida Schultz. She passed away on September 2, 2017 in Shreveport. She retired as a receptionist for The Sporting News. Ida was a member of Bellefontaine United Methodist Church in St. Louis for many years. Ida was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Davis and wife Georgia; grandchildren, Hope Worthington and husband Johnnie and Sean Davis and wife Susan; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle Davis and Joshua Davis. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
