Idell Mayberry

  SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Idell Mayberry, 93 years old, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Rev. Steve Pettey will be officiating. Idell was born in Elba, AL February 23, 1924 to Tup and Alice Davis Wise and passed away April 4, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Idell loved the outdoors and flowers, but most important was her family and she loved spending time with them. Idell was preceded in death by her parents, Tup Wise and Alice Wise; her husband, Grady Mayberry; daughter, Patricia DuBois; grandson, Keith DuBois; brothers, Howard Wise and Harvey Wise; sisters, Lucille Marsh, Bonnie Thornton, and Lonnie Lee Wise. She is survived by her daughter, Linda McDonald; grandchildren, Leane DuBois and Jami Collinsworth and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Keith and Chris Foster, and Tiffany, Rachel and Miranda Collinsworth; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Honoring Idell as pallbearers will be Jason Collinsworth, Steven Taylor, David McKinsley, Bill Wilson, Guy Whitfield, and John Hurst.
