Ima "Inee" Pauline Cowdin

Mansfield, LA – Funeral services celebrating the life of Ima “Inee” Pauline Cowdin, 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St. Mansfield, Louisiana with Ryder Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Wood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 2093 Wood Springs Rd, Grand Cane, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. 

Inee was born on November 9, 1965, in Center, Texas to Alton Elijah Covington and Barbara Ann Howard and passed away August 15, 2024, in Grand Cane, Louisiana. 

Inee was preceded in death by father, Alton Elijah “Jackie” Covington; father-in-law Eugene Cowdin, Sr.; and brother, Gregory Covington. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eugene “Son” Parke Cowdin, Jr.; daughters, Heidi Ann Richardson (Paul), Codi Danielle Ward (Ryder), and Harli Joe Cowdin Lee (John); grandchildren, Ryan, Carson, Reid, Remi Cate, Parker, Colby and Jhett; mother, Barbara Ann Dean; siblings, Jay Covington and Jody Covington.

Honoring Pauline as pallbearers will be Mark Cowdin, Dustin Cowdin, Bryan Hartly, P. Roy Kyle, Dylan Dickson, and Cody Holmes. 

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

A special thank you to all her caregivers and the ladies that sat with her toward the end. Aunt Tracy, Big Tonya, and Aunt Joyce – We can never repay you for walking this journey with us. Our girl would not have wanted to meet Jesus any other way than surrounded by her best girls.
