Imogene "Jean" Hatcher

Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Imogene "Jean" Hatcher, 75, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Union Springs Baptist Church in Converse with Reverend Waylon Gantt and Reverend Dick Enterkin officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Union Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 5:00 until. 9:00 PM. Jean was born May 20, 1940 in Summerfield to Willie and Lottie Massey Bishop and passed away in Shreveport on July 4, 2015. She was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. Preceding Jean in death were her husband Hulon Hatcher; parents Willie and Lottie Massey Bishop; sister Zelma Ray; and brothers Clifford, Jessie, Albert, Sr., and Floyd Bishop. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons George Hatcher and wife Louise, Rodney Hatcher and wife Sandy, and Freddie Hatcher and wife Barbara; sisters Bobbye Cotton, Doris Kennedy, Gloria Bishop, and Yvonne Mitchell; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Jean as pallbearers will be Booth Hatcher, Daniel Hatcher, Rusty Hatcher, Victor Avila, Jody Farmer, and Bob Farmer.
