Graveside services for Ira T. Irby, Jr. will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Minden Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Whitlock. The family will receive friends Saturday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home noon until 1:30 p.m. Ira was born October 27, 1924 in Delhi, Louisiana and entered into rest August 20, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. He was a retired Police Captain for the City of Minden. He was preceded in death by his son Ira Thomas Irby III. He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Betty Irby of Minden, son Nicky Aaron Irby of Minden, daughter Sharon Cassel of Minden, adopted granddaughter Codie Morgan Irby of Minden and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Rose-Neath funeral Home 211 Murrell Street Minden, Louisiana 71055
