Minden, LA Graveside service for Irene Stevens Tomlinson will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Rev. Ronnie Osborne will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Irene was born May 25, 1926 in Doyline, Louisiana and entered into rest August 19, 2020 in Minden, Louisiana. She was church secretary at Southside Baptist and North Acres Baptist Church for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Susan Stevens; first husband, Leon Davis; second husband, Willie C. "Bill" Tomlinson. She is survived by her son, James L. Davis and wife Ladonna; daughter, Judy Trant and husband Eddie; grandson, Steve Davis; granddaughter, Wendy Green and her son, Darby; grandson, Troy Trant and wife, Laurie and their daughter, Audrey, and step grandchildren, Kristi Whitt, Clint Woods, and Shane Woods. Pallbearers will be Mike Powell, Randy Ward, Stewart Beatty, Larry Rhodes, Norman McMillon, and David Cockrell. The family extends a special thanks to Passages Hospice and caregivers, Connie Beale, Sherry Powell, Buddy Williamson and Cynthia Sims.
