Irene Wilson

SHREVEPORT, LA - Irene Krieg Wilson, 88, passed away on October 5, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Irene was born on November 7, 1926 in Thrall, TX to John and Emma Senkel Krieg. A memorial service celebrating Irene's life will be held at a later date in Texas. Irene was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and friend. Family was the most important part of her life. Irene and her husband, Robert had recently moved back to Shreveport from Corinth, MS where they had lived for over 20 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved Irene. Irene is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Krieg; sister, Viola Pircher; son, Earl Gordon Wilson. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Wilson; daughter, Karen Wilson and John Loftus; grandson, Jason Wainwright; granddaughter, Casey McElroy and fiancé, Jacob Carpenter; two great-grandchildren, Haley Wainwright and Wyatt Carpenter; brother, Johnny Krieg and wife, Carolyn; sister, Margaret Ponton and husband, Ray, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
