Irma Rachal

Keithville, LA - A celebration of life for Irma Dans Rachal, 87, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Reverend Clarence Chism will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fern Park in Natchitoches, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Irma was born on December 27, 1928 to Bill and Elzada Dans in Marthaville, LA. She passed away on January 2, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Loretta Ann Scott, sister Linda Brewster, and brothers, Jessie Dans, Thurman Dans, Bill Dans, Jr., and Ronnie Dans. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Wilfred Rachal, son Daniel Bradford Rachal and wife Linda, and daughter Monica Rachal, grandchildren Jennifer Rawls and husband Eric, Todd Rachal and wife Kami, Coty Rachal and wife Heather, Harold Scott, Jr., Melissa Wallace, and Angela Layne and husband Scott Layne, great-grandchildren Bailee Mitchell, Hunter Martin, Ethan Rawls, Leigha Rachal, Breanna Whitt, Hannah Whitt, Monica Ann Layne, Chrischianna Vigil, and Christany Vigil, and siblings Barbara Smith, and Floyd Dans. Honoring her as pallbearers will be David Dans, Paul Dans, Billy Dans, Steve Dans, Roland Dans, and Kelly Dans. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Dans and Phillip Dans.
