Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Dean Poland, age 75, of Bienville, LA at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, LA with Bro. Bill Staples officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery in Bienville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Dean was born February, 27, 1941 to Willie B. and Vera Raburn in Chatham, LA, and passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Arcadia, LA. Dean loved to quilt and putting puzzles together. Her husband Jerry would hang them in picture frames. She worked for Bienville Food Center in Bienville for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Vera Raburn; her brother, Donald Raburn; daughter, Karen Perritt, and her son-in-law, Curt Perritt. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Jerry Poland of Bienville, LA; daughter Pam O'Dell and husband Gary of Waldo, Arkansas; son, Jerry Lynn Poland and wife Mickey of Arcadia, LA; brother, John Leslie Raburn of Simsboro, LA; seven grandchildren, Crystal and husband Dewayne, Corey and wife Brandi, Justin, Jessyca and husband Vance, Collin, Magan and Will; six great grandchildren, Devon, McKenzie, Dallas, Ryder, Abbie and Tara; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Johnny Raburn, Donnie Raburn, Ronnie Raburn, Wesley Boddie, James Kirkham and Jamie Smith. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons.
