Elise was born October 6, 1933 in Hall Summit to Ralph Dodson Crenshaw and Euna Mae Waters Crenshaw and passed away February 27, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Vice President of E and C Enterprises.
Elise was a remarkable, witty woman and a true blessing to those who knew her. She loved being active in her younger days, often participating in sports and activities like basketball, softball, dancing, and bowling. Her doctor called her a "warrior" because of her strong, fighting spirit - she was certainly one to never give up. Her strength and faith sustained her for the last four months of her illness, and she found humor in life even through this difficult time. She loved to be witty and make others laugh. Elise loved her family deeply and always told her daughters and grandchildren that she loved and cherished them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph, Atley, Miron, Paul and Loren Crenshaw and a sister, Arline Osborne.
Elise is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles W. "Chuck" Womack; daughters, Tanya Bowden and husband, Dan, Donna Driskill and husband, Danny, Jill Heins and husband, Robby, Tina Roccaforte; stepson, David B. Womack; grandchildren, Jason Heins, Cole Hughes, Victoria Roccaforte, Lucien Roccaforte, Sofia Roccaforte, Lawson Womack, Michaela Womack; great grandsons, Wyatt Hughes and Tucker Ramsey; sister, Iris Flory and a host of other family and friends. She is also survived by her best friend of over 45 years, Frankie Harris.
Honoring Elise as pallbearers will be, Jason Heins, Cole Hughes, Lucien Roccaforte, Lawson Womack, Choya Crenshaw, and Mark Crenshaw.
