Jabe W. Maddox, IV

BOSSIER CITY, LA - A Mass celebrating the life of Jabe W. Maddox lV, 39, will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be his uncle, Father George Gennuso. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Jabe was born April 12, 1977, and passed away from the results of a car accident on August 22, 2016, in Natchitoches, LA. Jabe graduated from Haughton High School in 1995. He worked for Brookshire's Pharmacy for 17 years. Jabe had a very loving and giving heart. He always saw the good in people, and never met a stranger. All that knew and loved him will miss him daily. Jabe was an Organ Donor, he wanted life to go on in others. Preceding Jabe in death is his maternal grandparents, Fred Sterba, Sr. and wife Rose Mary, Paternal grandparents, Jabe Maddox, Jr. and wife Oneta, uncle, Fred Sterba, Jr., aunt, Shane Smith, mother-in-law, Norene Mangum. Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife, Denise; children, Alexis and Cayson; parents, Jabe and Judene Maddox lll; sister, Jana Doss and husband, Ryan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Hazel Mangum; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris and Joanna Mangum, brother-in-law, Brandon Mangum; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
