Jack Bickham

Funeral services for Jack Bickham, 91, will be held at 12:30 p.m., March 1, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Tony Nations and Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Jack attended Fair Park High School where he lettered in all sports, though golf has always been his sport of choice until he was limited just riding in the cart. In his senior year, he met his bride of 73 years, Juanita. He later joined the U.S. Marines. Church has always been a major part of his life, where he did many jobs from sweeping the floor to Chairman of the Board. Jack was born September 3, 1926 to Annie Teacle and Alexander Napoleon Bickham in Shreveport, LA into a family of 13 children who all preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita Bickham; children, Melinda Vaught (John) and Randy Bickham; grandchildren, Erin Straus (Tim) and Jack, Libbey, and Preston Bickham; and many nieces and nephews. Honoring Jack as pallbearers will be the Senior Golf Team of East Ridge Country Club.
