WASKOM, TX - Funeral services for Jack M. Cordray, Sr., 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Clint Lovell and Rev. Matt Comer. Interment will follow in Centennial Cemetery on the Keatchie-Marshall Road, Panola County, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Jack was born on August 15, 1931 in Waskom, TX and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2014. He was a member of Bethany Methodist Church and retired from Atlas Processing Company after 35 years of employment. Jack enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Josephine Cordray; brother, W.E. Cordray; and sister, Alma Garrett. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Joy Cordray; children, Christine, Paula, Melvin, Wayne, and Elizabeth; brother, Roy Cordray; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
