Jack W Wilkins

Shreveport, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Jack W. Wilkins, 83, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Vivian Cemetery. Dr. Chad Hardbarger will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jack was born on October 7, 1931 in Trees, LA to Troy and Roy Madge Reagan Wilkins and passed away on September 27, 2015. Jack had a wonderful sense of humor, loved hunting, and fishing but his greatest passion was LSU football. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army. He met and married Mary Bostic and celebrated 63 years of marriage on July 12, 2015. Preceding Jack in death are his parents Troy and Roy Wilkins. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary Bostic Wilkins; sister, Barbara McMillian; brother, Reagan Wilkins, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Honoring Jack as pallbearers will be Tim Moentmann, Gary Bostic, Rick McMillan, Guy Rials, Gary Chatman, and Tobe Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Brown, A.C. Harper, Larry Hudson, Paul Wilson, Gene Bostic and Carl Hoeft. The family would like to say a special thanks to Mattie Alexander for all the care and support she gave to Jack over the years.
