Jackie Ross Bozeman

A graveside service for Jackie Ross Bozeman will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Cemetery, 6295 Williams Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. A visitation service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Jimmy McGuffey. Jackie was born on September 21, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles and Virgie Bozeman and passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After serving the United States Army for four years, Jackie returned home to Shreveport. A real people person, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, whether he was out hunting or out in his garden. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Gail Bozeman and Marie Bozeman and brothers, Tommy Bozeman and Jerry Bozeman. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda Bozeman; brothers, Danny Bozeman and wife, Virginia, David Bozeman and Dale Bozeman; sister, Louellen Thompson and husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Nickie Bozeman; son, Donnie Thurman and wife, Christy; daughter, Rebecca Ratliff; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and loved him. The family would like to express special thanks to the entire Willis-Knighton Hospital system and the Bradford Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown to Jackie.
