Jackie Eugene Johnson

Jackie Eugene Johnson, age 67, of Zwolle, Louisiana passed away at his home on July 18, 2023.  He was born May 21,1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas as the eldest son of Jack Kelly Johnson and Janice Lee (Ivey) Johnson.

Jackie served honorably in the US Marine Corps from 1973 thru 1977.  A Lance Corporal, Jackie earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Marksmanship Award.

He loved the outdoors – hunting and fishing on his “Hill” at Toledo Bend Lake in Louisiana.

Jackie is survived by his sons, Darrell Johnson of Owensboro, Kentucky and Jack Kelly Johnson of Springdale, Arkansas; his daughter Misty Johnson of Springfield, Oregon; three grandchildren Bailey, Jacob and Tiona and two great-grandchildren; Sister Joy Pilkinton of Sherwood, Arkansas; and brothers Jerry Johnson and wife Gloria of Jacksonville, Arkansas and James Johnson and wife Susie of North Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law Lynda Bodem and husband David of Zachary, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Jack and Janice Johnson, Jackie was predeceased by his wife of 33 years Faye Arceneaux Johnson and his brother Joey Kelly Johnson.
