James Edward Banister, 46, of Houston, Texas passsed away on May 20, 2016 at Houston Methodist Hospital. He was born on Sept. 22, 1969 in Mansfield, LA to J.T. and Norma Williams Banister. James, a hard worker, loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved working in the oilfield and spent 19 years working for Hess in the Gulf of Mexico and Equatorial Guinea. A personality like none other, James touched the lives of people all around the world. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.I. and Elizabeth Williams; his brother, John Banister; and daughter, Brooklyn Banister.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Milena Mazurkiewicz; his mother, Norma Williams; his son, Brody Banister; his daughter, Hailey Eaves; his son, Hunter Banister; sisters, Frances Caillouet and husband Mark and Anitam Thacker and husband Olan, Pam Banister. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends also survive Mr. Banister.
Graveside services for James will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2016 at Pelican Cemetery in Pelican, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral from 10:00 until 1:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2016.
