James Franklin Booker   MANSFIELD, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of James Franklin Booker, 80, will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Brandon Booker & Rev. Jerry Dale English officiating. Burial will follow at Prude Cemetery in Stanley, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5 pm till 8 pm. James Franklin Booker was born on May 21, 1938 to J.F. & Edith Booker and entered into rest on March 29, 2019 in Shreveport, La. He was a loving daddy, brother, and grandfather. Preceding James in death was his parents, grandparents, sons, James Franklin Booker, Jr.; and two other sons that passed away at birth, his brother Huey P. Booker and his sister Wanda Lee Tatum. Those left to cherish his memory are his children Jeffrey Kent Booker & Lisa Renea Booker; grandchildren, Brandon Booker, Jeffery Kent Booker, Jr., Shane Campbell, Ashley Campbell Veuleman, Chance Campbell & three step grandchildren. Honoring the life of James as pallbearers will be Chance Campbell, James Ferguson, Jessie Brandon Booker, Bubba Lum, Richard Booker, Sr. & Richard Booker Jr. Serving James as honorary pallbearers will be Preston Booker & Gwen Booker We would like to express our deepest thanks for every one of your prayers, expressions of love, calls of strength and support, words of encouragement, flowers, cards and visits.
