James (Bootise) Holley

James (Bootise) Holley, 81, of Sibley, left his earthly home February 11, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana. He was born February 4, 1943, in Dubberly, Louisiana.

Bootise was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Mable Holley and sisters, Linda Holley Reynolds and Claire Holley Robinson.

He is survived by his daughter, LeAnne Parsons and husband John West Parsons of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Kristina Lee Brazzel of New Orleans, LA, Anne Elizabeth Ferrell of Austin, TX and Peyton West Parsons of in Longview, TX; niece, Debbie Reynolds Lumbley and husband Roy of Hooks, TX; nephew, Jeff Reynolds and wife Jodi of Dubberly; great nephew, Aubrey Reynolds and his daughter, Madelyn of Dubberly.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Highland Clinic, Bristol Hospice, and Town and Country Nursing Home. Also, to Jeff and Jodi Reynolds, and a special thanks to Charlotte and Brad Reynolds for the countless trips and her dedication to his care.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:30 at Brushwood Methodist Church in Dubberly, LA with Joe Robinson officiating.
