James Brandon Brown

A graveside service for James Brandon Brown, 41, will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will Brother Bob Moore.

Brandon (B.B.) was born on April 23, 1981 in Shreveport, Louisiana to James M. and Teresa H. Brown and passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Shreveport.

Brandon was a resident of Shreveport. He was very outgoing and ready to help his friends and family. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. He enjoyed cooking and loved his dogs, Dolly and Duke.

Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James H. Brown, Jr. and Charles E. Hammett. Left to cherish his memory is his parents; grandmothers, Shirley F. Brown and Leatice M. Kay and husband, Darroll Kay; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
