Funeral services will be held for Jerry C. Brown, 69, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Wednesday, Nov. 3rd at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Willard Moore, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in the Arizona Community near Homer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Mr. Brown was born May 20, 1941 to Willie Clyde Brown and Elizabeth Ann Lovelady Brown in the Weldon Community near Bernice, LA and he passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 following a sudden illness. He was a Lab Tech, retiring with Ludlow Corporation and a member of the Arizona Methodist Church. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; also one brother, Dewayne Brown. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann Baker Brown of Homer; son, Randy Brown and wife Kathy of Haynesville; foster daughter, Audrey Greeson of Tulsa, OK; sister, Gayle McDonald and husband, Thomas of Haynesville; three grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Justin Brown and Chelle Brown; three great-grandchildren, Zoe McCree Brown, McKayla Layne Middleton and Adisyn Rayne Brown. Pallbearers will be James Green, Jeff Brown, Kenneth McClung, Wayne Tanner, Ken Tanner and Thomas McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Marion Stovall, John Cole, Tommy Gore, Ellis Smith, Larry Dean and Ed Dettenheim.
