Shreveport, LA - A funeral service for James L. Cameron, Sr., 70, will be held 12 noon Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Daniel Harrell. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the funeral home. James was born on May 12, 1944 at Harrisville, MS to Leonard G. Cameron and Mary W. Bullock. He owned Cameron Sheet Metal. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George and Glen Cameron and Benny Bullock; spouse, Virginia Cameron; and spouse, Nancy Cameron. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy and wife, Karyn Cameron, and Kevin and wife, Belinda Cameron; daughter, Lisa and husband, Allen Hawkins; grandchildren, Ellis Hawkins, Jessica Cameron, Caleb Cameron, Gabrielle Cameron; siblings, Mary and husband, Donald Mullins, Gary and wife, Jan Cameron, Linda and husband, Hilary Foster, John and wife, Mary Bullock, Robert and wife, Judy Bullock, Brenda Slade, Ricky and wife, Linda Bullock, Gerald Bullock, Tajuana Duckworth, and Evelyn Ponsler; and companion, Judy Austin. The family would like to express a special thanks to Roe and Mary Bullock and Mary and Bubba Mullins. Honoring him as pallbearers are John Bullock, Gary Sims, Steve Feazel, Wayne Hammock, James Bullock, Thomas Skipworth, Gary Cameron, and Jerry Bullock.
