James ( J. C. ) Cecil Price

Celebration of Life services for Mr. James Cecil Price, 86, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 20, 2014 in the sanctuary of the Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel with Brother James Miller and Brother Jimmy R. Price officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Sardis Cemetery, Converse, LA. under the direction of Mansfield's Rose-Neath Chapel. The family would like to receive guests for visitation in honoring Mr. Price from the hours of 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Mansfield Chapel. James Cecil Price was born April 10, 1928 in Zwolle, LA to the late Joe L. and Janie Craig Price and was called to his Heavenly home June 18, 2014 in Mansfield, LA. Mr. Price enjoyed recreational activities, choosing to be self-employed as a Fishing-Guide, soaking up the sun. Mr. Price is preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn Christell Sally Price; parents; one daughter Doris Price; and several siblings. Left to cherish such wonderful memories of James Price will be his son Jimmy Price and wife Ann; two daughters Shirley Peak and husband Lee, Judy Williams and husband Gary; two sisters Shirley Manshack and Opal Rivers; one brother-in-law Philip Salley and wife Judy; one sister-in-law Helen Salley; grandchildren Ryan and Tara Williams, Richard and Stephanie Peters, Jason and Kylie Price, Tiffany, Nathan and Russ Salley, Chuck, Chandra, and Mike Salley; great-grandchildren Lexi, Aubri, Addi, Max, Jase, David, Kennedy, Karmyn; along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.
