James "Jim" Ledford

Funeral services celebrating the life of James “Jim” Ledford, 77, of Logansport, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 4330 Hwy 818, Ruston, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Jim was born December 18, 1945, to Alfred and Geneva Ledford and entered into rest on October 25, 2023. Jim served six years in the United States Marine Corps.

Jim is survived by his son, Jimmy Ledford; daughter, Lisa Meitner; sister, Judy Foster; brothers, Danny Ledford, Jackie Ledford, Bobby Ledford, and Jerry Ledford; grandchildren, Hunter Ledford, Katlyn Ledford, Mason Flores, Paula Flores, and Kaleigh Meitner; great-grandchild, Rosalyn Procell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Shirley Bowers, Frances Gathright, Wanda Wood, and Jessie Axton; and his brother, Bill Ledford.

Honoring Jim as pallbearers will be Jimmy Ledford, Dino Ledford, Shawn Hall, Tony Ledford, and Johnny DeLoach.
