James Ronald Vaughan

James Ronald "Ronny" Vaughan, 65, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on November 2, 1955 in Springhill, Louisiana to Thomas Gerald and Margaret Morgan Vaughan. Ronny was a Parts Manager for an auto dealership for over 30 years before he retired, winning many company awards over the years for his work in this field. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved camping and cruising with his family and his dogs, Annie and Ozzie. Ronny was well known for his belly laughs, quick wit, and horseshoe mustache. He had a great way with people and amazing luck with the slot machines! He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, William "Bud" Farley. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Dana Vaughan; his children, Jennifer Reeder and husband, Robert, Brandon Vaughan and Daniel Vaughan; grandchildren, Will and Madison; siblings, Thomas Vaughan and wife, Janna and Rebecca Barge and husband, Jerry; sister-in-law, Kellie Stuart and husband, Eddie; special niece, Heather Terry and husband, John, and their children, Noah, Anslei, and Auri. The family would like to express special thanks to the amazing caregivers in the ICU at Willis-Knighton South for the excellent care and compassion given to Ronny.
