James Lee Tisdale, Jr.

James Lee Tisdale, Jr., 58, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on December 30, 2022 at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on December 23, 1964 at Glasgow AFB, Glasgow, Montana to James Lee Tisdale, Sr. and Sandra Connell Tisdale.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St. Shreveport, LA 71101. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Back who is the founder and former director of Eagle Creek Recovery Center.

“Jimbo” was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Tisdale, Sr.  He is survived by his mother, Sandra Connell Tisdale of Shreveport, LA; sons, James Brandon Tisdale of Colorado Springs, CO. and Eric John Tisdale of Niagara Falls, NY; aunt and uncle, Mary Elizabeth and William Andrew Yarbrough; uncle, Douglas Tisdale of Houston, TX; along with cousins, Andrew and Marc Yarbrough and special friends of the family, Monica Yarbrough and Sue Vercher.

“Jimbo” received his education in Shreveport and served in the United States Army. He was known for his willingness to help others and his love for the outdoors and animals, especially his cats.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
