James William Lee

A Memorial Service for James William Lee, 86, will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Buddy Puryear. James was born on September 26, 1934 to W.F. and Bernice Lee in Richland Parish, Louisiana and passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. James was an avid sportsman. Hunting was his passion, particularly for deer. He was an electrician by trade before retiring. He loved spending time with his sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They meant the world to him. James is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virgie Lee; and sister, Connie Copes. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Steve Lee and wife, Lynda, and Kirk Lee; grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Hutchings, LaShea Hall and husband, Trey, and Sonja Lee; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Makayla, and Jaiden Hall and Adaline Monckton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
