Jan Toothman

Stonewall, LA - Jan Morris Toothman age 48, passed away suddenly due to cardiac complications on May 11, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jan was born to Steve and Christine Morris on November 24, 1971 in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was one of six siblings growing up in Bossier City, LA. After graduation she became an L.P.N. and worked many years in Shreveport, LA. She has spent the last years being a home health nurse with Stat Home Health. She was the Duchess of Delight for the Krewe of Atlas in 2019 to 2020. She had two wonderful kids and enjoyed spending time with them and the grandchildren. Jan was preceded in death by her father, Steve Morris; grandmother, Helen Morris; and aunt Janice Scalon. She is survived by her children, Deana Johnson and husband Aaron, Tyler Toothman; three grandchildren, Alexis, Kenneth, and Molly Johnson; mother, Christine Morris; siblings, Ann Morris, Jodel Morris and wife BeBe, Mark Morris, Rebekah Gates; significant other, Randy Moses his daughter, Randi Craig and husband Matt and their kids, Walker and Kanon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Due to the Covid-19 Virus the family will have a private service. Friends may sign the guest book at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Johnson, David Renfro, John Aulds and Roger Richard. The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to the Willis-Knighton Heart Institute and Dr. Prejean for all the love you shown our mom.
