Funeral services for Jane "Cookie" Richards, 78, of Arcadia, Louisiana will be held Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.at First United Pentecostal Church of Arcadia. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cook Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana. Jane "Cookie" Richards was born January 13, 1943, to Garland Leon Harber and Alice Hart Harber, in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away July 22, 2021, in Ruston, Louisiana. Cookie was a retired nurse, and a devoted member of First United Pentecostal Church of Arcadia. She had a passion for gardening and a loving heart for stray dogs and animals. She loved to cook and eat. Cookie had a genuine love for people, her family most of all. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Woody" Richards; sisters, Margaret Booth and Sandra Harber, brothers, Garland Harber, Jr., James Harber and Reese Harber. Cookie is survived by her sons, Jimmy Lonidier, Jr., John Lonidier, Danny Lonidier and Mike Lonidier; daughter, Michelle Lonidier Cook; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Daniel Lonidier, Jacob Cash, Tom Lonidier, Brandon Morris, Tristan Williams, and Nathan Lonidier. Honorary pallbearer will be Branson Morris
