Celebration of Life services for Janelle "Jan" Hardin Williams, 60, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 3, 2014, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Park West, Shreveport, LA. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from the hours of 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose-Neath Southside. Jan was born April 6, 1954, in Shreveport, LA, to the late Barney William Hardin and Marie Belle Arinder Hardin Wheat and was called home November 30, 2014, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She loved sewing, scrap-booking, crafting, gardening and spending time with her dogs. Jan will be remembered for her loving spirit, her practical jokes and the devotion towards her loved ones. Jan was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish Jan's beautiful memories will be her beloved husband; Charles Dewayne Williams, one son; Dewayne Williams, two daughters; Kimberly Evans and husband Darin and Melissa Dupont and husband Stacy, four siblings; Frank Hardin, Sue Walker and husband Rob, Bill Hardin and wife Carol and Sena McWilliams and husband Mac, six grandchildren; Kyndal Evans, Dakota Evans, Dawson Evans, Savannah Cavanaugh, Karlie Dupont and Jackson Dupont, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
