Janet Rae McGary

Janet Rae McGary was born on September 14, 1947 in Herrin, Illinois and passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her parents were Gilbert and Goldena Hudson. The Hudson family moved to Shreveport when Janet was 14. Janet is survived by her husband, Bobby McGary; her brother, Brad Hudson; her sons, Robert McGary and his wife, Jill, Mark McGary and his wife, Heather, and Jared McGary and his wife, Blair. Her grandchildren are Megan, Kristin, Alyssa, Jonathan, Sydney, Luke, and Rebecca. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Jonathan McGary and Luke McGary, as well as David, Stephen, and Jonathan Steinke, and Ben McGrady. The family wishes to give a special Thank You to Dr. Marwan Bahu, Janet's Cardiologist. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana.
