Services for Janice Ruth Offer Hall will be held at 10: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation with the family is Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Officiating will be Brother Keith Dowden. Interment will be at Forest Park St. Vincent. Jan "Jan-O" Hall was born January 31, 1956 to Bill Offer and Jerry Corley Offer. She passed into eternal rest on June 15, 2017. Jan is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Dustin Lee Hall and William Matthew Hall; grandchildren; Natalie Alise Hall, Deagan Leo Hall, Kenzi Nevaeh Jones and Mattilyn Lee Hall; brother, William "Billy" Offer and his wife Rhyna and their children; former husband, Ronnie Hall; stepmother, Barbara "Granny B" Offer, her beloved best buddy Buster Brown, her dog. She also leaves other family members and friends. Jan was proud of her work as a cosmetologist. She retired as a drafter from the City of Shreveport. She attended technical school for both professions. Her mother was her role model. Her father was her hero. She was most proud of her two sons. Jan will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. Honoring Jan-O as pallbearers will be: David McDaniel, Joseph Wise, Jeremy Stevens, Phillip Yates, Mickey Porter and Travis Offer.   God hath not promised skies always blue. Flower strewn pathways all our life through. God hath not promised sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace without pain. God hath not promised we shall not know trial and temptation, trouble and woe. He hath not told us we shall not bear many a burden, many a care But God hath promised strength for this day, rest for the Laborer, light for the way. Grace for the trails, help from above, unfailing sympathy, undying love.
