Janice Morris

Janice 'Jan Marie Morris, 68, of Many, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2022. A visitation with the family will be held at 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service to follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel. Officiating the service will be Bro. Ottis Branam. Jan was born on April 7, 1954 in San Diego, California to Jimmy Andrew Bishop and Jeannette Wren Kennedy. She proudly served her country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps for 7 years. Preceding Jan are her parents, Jimmy Bishop and Jeannette Kennedy; her husband, Donald Morris; her brothers, Pat Gallagher, Tim Gallagher, Mike Thomason, and Robert Bishop; her sister, Beverly Bishop; and her great-niece, Delisa Foster. She is survived by her son, Colin Morris of Many, LA; her daughters, Jenifer Meadows of Many, LA and Diane Morris of Maringouin, LA; her brothers, Bebop Thomason and wife Susie of Holden, LA, Clark Bishop and wife Shirlene of Owasso, OK, and Jim Bishop and wife Amber of Temple, GA; her sisters, Theresa Bennett of Pascagoula, MS, Charlotte Casteel of Many, LA, Jo Segura and husband Bill of Tulsa, OK, and Julie Bishop of Ringgold, GA; her grandchildren, Xiola Buirge and Isaac Buirge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
