Jean Carroll Brown

Jean Carroll Brown, 82, was born on March 23, 1942 in Antigua, British West Indies to Lyle Parratt and Elsie Pearce Parratt and passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She studied to be a nurse and pharmacy technician. She worked for K&B, Rite Aid and Target. She was married to Joseph J. Nectoux for 27 years and Mike Brown for 32 years. She had a great personality, was always cheerful and was a loving wife.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janet Tessier and brother, Lyle Franklin Parratt, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Brown; children, Anita Nectoux Lee and husband, Scott, Joseph Nectoux and wife, Lisa, Tracy Nectoux and husband, Stuart, Linda Lehmann and husband, John, and Jason Nectoux and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Andrew Lee, Nathan Lee, Lyle Parratt and wife, Emily and Amy Donald and husband, Seth and sister-in-law, Donna Parratt

A memorial service for family and friends will be conducted at Donna Parratt’s home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
