Jean B. Miller

Funeral services for Jean B. Miller will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St., Mansfield, Louisiana on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David Permenter and Reverend Lee Dickson officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Jean was born on December 7, 1930 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to William and Lucille Brown and entered into rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Denison, Texas. She graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1950 and from Louisiana College in 1954, where she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a school teacher for 30 years in Desoto Parish and a Sunday School teacher for most of her life. Her most cherished hobby was spoiling her two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Reverend Robert C. Miller and brother, Richard Brown. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Larry R. Miller, M.D., PHD and wife, Cecilia of Sherman, Texas and grandchildren, Robert Stephen Miller and wife, Jordan of San Antonio, Texas and Thomas Lee Miller of Sherman, Texas. Honoring Jean as pallbearers will be Paul Patrick, Ralph Patrick, Bobby Patrick, Mike Brown, Reverend Mike Hermanson, Reverend Bob Latham.
