SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Jeanette King Leckie, 86, will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Leckie was born October 16, 1928 in Jonesboro, LA and passed away June 28, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Leckie; great-grandson, Trevor Mills; mother, Mattie Weaver; father, Fred King; grandson, Daniel Harris; two sisters, Janice and Maureen; and two brothers, Bud and Harold. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Bindo, Darvy Smalling, Dianne Wells and husband, Paul; siblings, Douglas King and Dean King; grandchildren, Angie Mills, Toni Harris, Rex Harris, Cindy McPherson, Chuck McPherson, Elmer Wells; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Mills, Hunter James, Dalton Harris, Riley Harris, Kiley Harris; great-great-grandchild, Nolan Lofton and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family members. Pallbearers will be James Harris, Rex Harris, Hunter James, Troy James, Keith King and Gary Walker.
