Jennifer Kay Turner Gatti, a life-long resident of Bossier City, Louisiana, died on Monday, September 23, 2024, from a sudden illness at the age of 52.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Hal Gatti and wife, Josee; son, Hayden Gatti and Fiancé, Jillian Cochran; mother, Linda Dunn Turner; sister, Rachel Lowry and husband, Autry; brother, Dr. Jay Turner and wife, Ashley; nieces, Caroline Tompkins and husband, Robert, Madeline Lowry, and Emma, Ella, and Analeigh Turner. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan B. Turner, and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
Jennifer was born in Shreveport on March 3, 1972, to Dan and Linda Turner. She graduated from Airline High School in 1990 and Louisiana Tech University in 1994. In 1999 and 2001 respectively, she welcomed her two amazing sons, who were the most important part of her life.
Jennifer was a devoted mother and a talented decorator. She enjoyed decorating people’s houses and fixing up old frames. Jennifer was a friend to everyone and was known to have lengthy conversations with clients while she was decorating their houses. She loved to travel and her most memorable trip was a mission trip she took to Africa. She spent most of her adult life watching Hal and Hayden play baseball. That was her pride and joy and she delighted in being their biggest supporter and fan. She was a spiritual woman and was involved in many church activities during her lifetime. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow the service at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Reverend Ryan Gatti, Robyn Horton, and Hal Gatti. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Operation Christmas Child at www.samaritanspurse.org
