A memorial service for Jennifer Diane Macynski, 41, will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Sig Kunz.
Jenny was born on July 27, 1982, to Debbie Knepper Attaway in Shreveport, Louisiana, and gracefully completed her journey on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her home in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jenny was not just a nurse; she was a beacon of light for the elderly and disabled children under her care. Her healing touch and unwavering compassion earned her the endearing title of “The Healer”. Her gentle presence and genuine warmth provided comfort to those in need, leaving an indelible mark on all whose lives she touched.
Beyond her professional life, Jenny’s essence shone brightly through her love for family and festive spirit. A true Christmas elf at heart, she wove magic into every holiday season, ensuring that Christmas was filled with joy and wonder. Family celebrations, holidays, and birthdays were cherished moments that she embraced with unmatched enthusiasm and love.
Jenny’s vibrant personality illuminated every room she entered. Her infectious smile and joyful giggle could brighten even the darkest days. Known for her kindness and unparalleled generosity, Jenny’s heart was as vast as the horizon itself. Her childlike innocence and patience touched the hearts of everyone around her.
Apart from her dedication to nursing and family, Jenny found great joy in being at the beach. She was truly about the beach life. She was very artistic and expressed her creativity through various artistic pursuits. From crafting to cooking-especially her renowned chicken and sausage gumbo-she poured her heart and soul into everything she did. Thanksgiving dinners will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her friends and family. Turkey and her grandmother’s cornbread dressing were just a few of the culinary delights that Jenny would lovingly prepare.
Jenny leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unyielding compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul G. Knepper “Pawpaw”; paternal grandparents, Claudia “Maw” and Edwin Cummings and father-in-law, Dave Macynski. She is survived by her husband, Scott Macynski; daughter, Christabella Cummings; son, Tristan Macynski; fur babies, Max and Lola; mother, Debbie Attaway, and husband, Patrick (Lafayette); grandmother, Martha Pritt; sisters, Lauren Cummings (California) and Charmayne Peacock (Florida); brother-in-law, Robert Macynski (Florida); sister-in-law, Melissa Macynski Weekly (Virginia); mother-in-law, Michelle Macynski (Virginia) and a host of other cherished family members.
Serving Jenny as honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Knepper, Matthew Knepper, Jonathan Knepper, Dustin Price, Ethan Peacock, Eddie Weekly, Robert Macynski, Shane Attaway, and her favorite uncle, Dale Knepper.
