Jennifer Jon Young

Jennifer Greene Young, 45, passed away July 14, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jennifer was born October 25, 1974 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Wallace and Patricia Greene. She was an avid animal lover and spent much of her time volunteering at the Shreveport Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or Shreveport SPCA. Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and grandparents. She is survived by her sister, Jodi Knight and husband of Picayune, Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery where she and two of her sisters' cremated remains will be joined with their mother's remains. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the organization Jennifer held dear to her heart, the ASPCA. Donations can be made at the ASPCA website through this link.
