HAYNESVILLE, LA: Jeremy Taylor Norment, 48, entered into rest in Homer after a brief illness, on March 17, 2020. Jeremy's wishes were honored by his wife and boys with the donation of his organs so that others may have life. At a later date, the family plans to have a celebration of life honoring Jeremy in hopes that all his family and friends will join them.Jeremy Taylor Norment was born in Springhill, Louisiana, February 6, 1972 to Jerry and Jeanette Norment of Sarepta, Louisiana. He was proceeded in death by his two sisters, Jennifer Brown and Julie Norment. He. Is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Dowies Norment of 21 years; two sons, Taylor Austin Norment and James Max Norment; daughter, Casey Norment Medley and husband Scott of Shreveport; two granddaughters, Trista and Aubry; parents, Jerry and Jeanette Norment of Sarepta; brother, Joey Norment and wife Kim of Ball, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Jeremy was a devoted family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He was a strong Christian man, and he and his family are members of the Living Word Church of Haynesville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his sons play Tornado football on Friday nights. Jeremy was employed in the oilfield industry most of his career.
